Laura is a retired professional meeting planner and research librarian who has lived in Santa Clarita for 25 years. When it became obvious that there was a need for teaching youth the practical skills to help them achieve independence, Laura took action and developed a Life Skills course for a local high school. From that has grown the concept of Launch.

Doug is a semi-retired software engineer whose work in the aerospace industry has provided him with an ability to clearly see and analyze programs and challenges. His extensive volunteer work with multiple organizations, including Toastmaster, Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, Freemasonry and youth group DeMolay give him a unique perspective into non-profit organizations.

Michael's professional knowledge of the world of EMT and health and risk management give him a wide breadth of knowledge in the professional world. His volunteer work with Masonic organizations has let him to be a strong promotor of youth education and self-accountability.

Monte is a professional in the investment and insurance world. His professional knowledge of these areas have blended well with his extensive volunteer experience with the Boy Scouts of America, including developing courses in investment and money management for merit badges.
